You might recall that heavy rain in Uganda previously damaged the brickwork of the girls' house, causing the protective rendering to fail and leaving the walls exposed to the weather.

Repairing it requires reapplying the rendering using high-quality materials—though this comes at a cost. Fortunately, at that time we learned that Kerith Community Church in the UK was accepting grant applications for charitable causes. After praying earnestly, we submitted our request and were delighted to receive approval. As a result, Kerith has generously funded the repair of the damage and the reapplication of fresh rendering to the building.

So we have used local materials and local labour and had the rendering applied to a high standard. I think you'll agree that it does look rather excellent!

We give thanks as always to God for His faithfulness and to our supporters for their unwavering generosity.
