About the project:
The tukutuku is a necessity as we're struggling to find grass for cows the staff have to search for grass, cut it and then pay bodaboda (scooter) at 2,000 per sack to bring the grass home. We then left with very little profits from milk sales. With a tukutuku, staff would be able to cut grass one or twice a week and use our own transport. The tuku can also be hired when not in use and would bring in income as well.
In a draught season, (as it is now) it's quite challenging to find grass and other feeds for animals.
