Jamie Davies of Dimension Data UK and his fiancée Charlene are on a journey from London to Cape Town that will change their lives and they hope, the lives of the orphans and widows, at Abba Father's House in Jinja, Uganda forever.

How does it work?

We are offering you the chance to 'buy' a stretch of road in Morocco, Mali or any African country along their route. Alternatively, you could help move Jamie and Charlene across one of the many borders they will pass during their travels by sponsoring £1 per mile.

Whilst you won’t actually end up owning a road or border post, you will end up sporting a huge smile on your face in the knowledge that your sponsored miles will be making a difference. This is because 100% of all money raised in the “Miles for Smiles” campaign will go to the orphans and widows at Abba Father’s House.

You can keep track of Jamie and Charlene’s progress and the sponsored miles on this thermometer on this site and celebrate with them when they present all money raised to Abba Father’s House upon their arrival in Uganda in the next 6 months.
