Abba Father's House is now registered as UK charity and our Registration No. is 1118832.

We are excited about the opportunity this provides for us to show you what the faithfulness of God, our Directors, committee members, partners and friends has accomplished so far and to keep you informed on how and where you’re helping us make a difference in children’s lives.

For the past year we have been operating as UK registered company and Community Based charity in Uganda, but now we are also registered as a UK charity and our Registration No. is 1118832.

Our special thanks goes to Michael Spooner who worked hard to make this happen. We hope this will help our fundraising as our supporters will have assurance of our accountability as a Charity under the UK Charity Commission. March this year (2007) was our first anniversary and we are progressing slowly but surely on our amazing faith journey. As usual, we send a big God blessing to you partners and friends for your spiritual, financial and practical support which keeps us in operation. We spent the first year trying out working methods to help us maintain adequate standards for the well being of the children and creating projects to backup our sponsorship programme which is going well despite the loss we suffered in the poultry project between February and April.

As the children’s ministry is now up and running, we are taking a further step of faith setting up the widow’s project which is part of our vision to enable us comfort traumatised widows as well. At the moment, trainer’s programmes qre being conducted to familiarise trainers with the vision of Abba Father's House (AFH), aims and code of conduct after which widows will be invited to healing classes first and then the skills training will begin. We are aiming to set up sub section within the widow’s project such as bridal, tailoring, arts and crafts, bakery, catering, poultry, entertainment club etc in order to give opportunity for every widow to participate as well as learn new skills. The UK committee team is seeking donations of bridal wear which will be hired out to enable us raise funds while some will be sent to Uganda for the same purpose. We would ask that that one with bridal wear that they no longer need to donate them to us to help promote this project in order to help the children and widows. We praise God for you, our partners and hope this news letter will help you see a more complete picture of AFH, I know that together, we are making a difference.

Thanks in advance for your continued support. We love you.

Juliet
